How to Play Word Search
Word Search is a classic word puzzle game that challenges your vocabulary and pattern recognition skills. A grid of letters is arranged in a rectangular layout, and your task is to find hidden words that are placed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in any direction.
On MIA Games, you can choose from six different categories: Animals, Countries, Sports, Technology, Food, and Nature. Each category contains carefully selected words that are educational and fun to discover. The grid size ranges from 8×8 for beginners to 12×12 for experienced word hunters.
Game Rules
The game presents you with a grid of letters and a list of words to find. Your goal is to locate each word hidden in the grid. Here's how it works:
- Select a word by clicking and dragging across the letters
- Words can be placed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally
- Words can be written in any direction: left-to-right, right-to-left, top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, or diagonal
- When you correctly select a word, it will be highlighted on the grid and marked as found in the word list
- Find all words to complete the puzzle
The timer tracks how long it takes you to find all words. Try to improve your time with each puzzle!
